about the program
Two main English language tests accepted by universities and for immigration around the world, IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) and LPI (Language Proficiency Index). Both evaluate how students can combine English listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who seek to study or work where English is the language of communication.
Students enter this course of the program based on a diagnostic assessment. Should have language competences equivalent to IELTS 6.
Student needs are assessed and will be tailored to test preparation in all areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Course Prerequisites
There are no specific admission requirements (see admissions policy).
Duration
The course is 120 hours in total. Students can enter a course at the beginning of a topic area. Student progress will be determined by several variables, such as student motivation, class size, aptitude toward language accusation, etc.

This program is offered through distance education (online). The program’s delivery utilizes a range of methods.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, students will have improved their comprehension and practical use of English and testing skills. They will be able to demonstrate effective English listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing related to IELTS testing. At the end of the Course, students will be well prepared to achieve the IELTS standard equivalent to 6.
Important Note
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIRU did not review this program.
